Ceremony at the Party Headquarters
On Monday, the Bihar unit of the BJP gathered at its Patna office to mark the birth anniversary of senior stalwart Kailashpati Mishra. Party dignitaries, office‑bearers and rank‑and‑file volunteers stood around Mishra’s statue, laid floral wreaths and recalled his unwavering commitment to the organisation.
Honouring a Grassroots Visionary
Speakers highlighted Mishra’s instrumental role in extending the party’s footprint into the remote villages and varied social groups of Bihar. They emphasized how his tireless door‑to‑door outreach helped the BJP infiltrate isolated hamlets, recruit fresh cadres and reinforce its organisational base during periods of political turbulence.
The tributes portrayed Mishra’s political saga as a lesson in humility, discipline and perseverance. He was praised for constantly placing the party’s objectives and national service above personal ambition.
Prominent Attendees
Among the guests were State Organisation General Secretary Bhikhu Bhai Dalsania, Bihar Minister Pramod Chandravanshi, MLAs Ratnesh Kushwaha and Manoj Sharma, MLC Anil Thakur, and Bihar Sanskrit Board Chairman Mrityunjay Jha. State General Secretaries Preeti Shekhar, Dhanraj Sharma and Rajesh Jha Raju also took part.
Additional party functionaries such as District President and Farmers Commission Chairperson Rupa Mehta, Headquarters In‑charge Akshay Kumar, Office Minister Vinay Kesari, and State Vice‑Presidents Pawan Jaiswal and Anamika Paswan were present as well.
