Overview of the Incident

Delhi police have placed three men in custody following an alleged assault on a woman from Nagaland and her companions. The episode unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, around 3:30 a.m., inside the parking lot of a five‑star hotel located in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave.

According to the police report, the victim arrived at the hotel accompanied by a doctor friend from RML Hospital and two other acquaintances. After using the restroom, the group was approached near the car park by three men driving a white Mercedes.

Companions Intervene

The three men allegedly attempted to pull the woman toward their vehicle. When her friends stepped in, a physical altercation broke out. The friends – identified as Ayush, Udbhav and Samarth – sustained injuries during the scuffle. Ayush suffered a dental injury, while Udbhav and Samarth were also reported to have been beaten.

The woman was immediately taken to RML Hospital for a medical examination. She managed to note down the registration number of the white Mercedes, a detail that proved vital for investigators.

Accused Persons Identified

Police have named the alleged offenders as Divyanshu, Gaurav and Mohit. A formal FIR was lodged at Chanakyapuri Police Station based on the victim’s statement and the medical report.

Investigation Ongoing

Detectives are reviewing statements from all parties and reconstructing the sequence of events in the hotel’s parking zone. The three suspects remain in police custody while the inquiry proceeds.

Authorities stress that the case is still under active investigation and further details will be released as the probe advances.
