Operating revenue climbs to Rs 5,788 crore
Trent Ltd, the retail subsidiary of the Tata Group, announced standalone operating revenue of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter, marking a 23 % increase year‑on‑year from Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.
The six‑month total (April‑September) also rose sharply, reaching Rs 11,454 crore, up 21 % YoY**, highlighting the consistent momentum across its brand portfolio.
Zudio crosses the 1,000‑store threshold
The fast‑fashion brand Zudio celebrated the opening of its 1,000th outlet during the quarter, adding 17 new stores to its footprint. Fellow flagship label Westside contributed another 10 locations.
Altogether, Trent’s portfolio of brands operated 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, underscoring an aggressive push into smaller cities.
Analyst sentiment turns bullish
U.S. brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent, assigning a ‘Buy’ rating and citing the sustained top‑line growth and the company’s clear expansion roadmap.
Store rollout remains the primary growth driver
With Zudio now beyond the 1,000‑store milestone and the overall network exceeding 1,300 outlets, Trent is cementing its status as a leading player in India’s organised retail space. Investors are closely monitoring how the retailer leverages fresh store openings to accelerate future earnings.
