Dehradun – Prominent YouTuber and ex‑Bigg Boss participant Anurag Dobhal, widely recognised as UK07 Rider, was apprehended by Dehradun police after a grievance was filed accusing him of assault, illegal confinement, intimidation and theft against Raj Singh Chauhan, a relative of his wife.

What Prompted the Police Intervention?

The matter came to light when Chauhan approached the Nehru Colony police station and submitted a formal complaint detailing a series of violent incidents. Authorities promptly recorded the FIR and launched a comprehensive inquiry.

Allegations Detailed in the Complaint

According to Chauhan’s account, the clash occurred on 5 October near a café on Haridwar Bypass Road, where he had gone to meet Dobhal and his associates. He alleges that the encounter quickly turned physical. The specific charges include:

  • Being assaulted and allegedly choked by Dobhal.
  • Physical attacks by several of Dobhal’s teammates, causing injuries.
  • An attempted ramming of his vehicle.
  • Stealing his mobile phone and a gold chain.
  • Subsequent threats conveyed through phone calls and social‑media messages.

All these points have been incorporated into the ongoing police probe.

Police Detain Four Persons

Officers received a tip about a brawl near Haridwar Bypass Road on the night of 5 October. Upon arrival, they found Dobhal and his group engaged in a dispute with Chauhan. Both sides were escorted to a nearby police outpost to avoid further escalation. The altercation reportedly continued at the outpost, prompting senior officers to step in.

In the end, four individuals were placed in custody: Anurag Dobhal and three companions identified as Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan. Chauhan was taken to Doon Hospital for medical assessment after sustaining injuries.

FIR Registration and Family Background

The Nehru Colony police filed a First Information Report (FIR) based on Chauhan’s allegations, naming Dobhal and the three others. Investigators are reconstructing the sequence of events to ascertain each person’s involvement.

The case also throws light on a reported family dispute involving Dobhal and his wife, Ritika. Raj Singh Chauhan is said to be related to Ritika, although police have not verified any direct connection between the familial feud and the alleged assault.

Dobhal’s Response

Anurag Dobhal has publicly refuted the accusations, insisting that he and his team were the victims of an unprovoked attack. He claims his side approached the police immediately after the incident and that he will present his version of events during the investigation.
