Lucknow – The second phase of the Agniveer recruitment campaign for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand aspirants began on Monday at Roorkee. The Indian Army has issued a district‑wise calendar, spreading the rally over eight days from 5 October to 12 October. Candidates from Lucknow are slated for 10 October.
Written‑test qualifiers advance to the physical assessment
The rally is centred on the Agniveer Clerk/SKT category. Those who cleared the written examination will now face the recruitment run, physical‑fitness tests, and on‑spot document verification.
Officials stress that every applicant must present original certificates and supporting papers at the venue.
Mandatory documents for every aspirant
Applicants should carry the following items:
- Admit card
- PAN card
- Aadhaar card
- Online‑issued police character certificate
- Twenty recent passport‑size colour photographs
- Educational certificates
- Domicile certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- School character certificate
- Religion certificate
- General character certificate
- Unmarried certificate
- NCC or sports certificates (if available)
Three photocopy sets of each original document are compulsory, and a mobile number linked to Aadhaar is required for the online verification process. Affidavits will be drafted on the spot for any missing paperwork.

The Army has clustered candidates by district as follows:
- 5 October: Uttarakhand – Almora, Bageshwar, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, Pithoragarh; Uttar Pradesh – Bahraich, Balrampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Sambhal, Shahjahanpur, Shravasti, Sitapur.
- 6 October: Amethi, Ambedkar Nagar, Ayodhya, Basti, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Rae Bareli, Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Sultanpur.
- 7 October: Baghpat, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar.
- 8 October: Gautam Buddh Nagar, Amroha, Rampur, Saharanpur, Shamli, Agra, Etah, Jhansi, Kasganj, Jalaun.
- 9 October: Lalitpur, Aligarh, Etawah, Firozabad, Hathras, Mainpuri, Mathura.
- 10 October: Lucknow, Auraiya, Banda, Barabanki, Chitrakoot, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Mahoba, Unnao.
- 11 October: Uttarakhand – Chamoli, Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi; Uttar Pradesh – Ballia, Gorakhpur, Bhadohi.
