North Western Railway (NWR) has opened a fresh apprenticeship drive for FY 2026‑27, offering 2,008 training seats across its network. The official notification was issued on 1 October 2026, and the e‑portal will receive applications from 7 October 2026 up to 11:59 pm on 6 November 2026. All entries must be submitted online; paper forms are not accepted.
Division‑wise Distribution
The vacancies are allocated among the following NWR divisions:
- Jaipur division: 580 positions
- Bikaner division: 524 positions
- Ajmer division: 500 positions
- Jodhpur division: 134 positions

Trades Covered
Successful candidates will undergo practical training in one of the following trades:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Diesel Mechanic
- Welder
- Carpenter
- Electronics Mechanic
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)
Applicants must select a single railway unit while filling the form; multiple selections are not permitted.
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, aspirants must meet these basic conditions:
- Pass Class 10 from a recognized board with at least 50 % marks.
- Hold a valid National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in the chosen trade.
- Be between 15 and 24 years of age as on 6 November 2026.
Age relaxations are provided as follows:
- SC/ST – additional 5 years
- OBC – additional 3 years
- PwBD – additional 10 years
Selection Procedure – No Written Exam
The shortlisting will be based on a simple average of the percentages obtained in Class 10 and the ITI qualification. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be given priority.
Shortlisted candidates will then undergo document verification and a medical examination before final appointment.
Application Fee
General‑category candidates must pay an online fee of ₹ 100. The fee is exempted for SC, ST, PwBD candidates and for all female applicants. After payment, the form cannot be edited.
How to Apply
Prospective apprentices should visit the official NWR recruitment portal at rrcjaipur.in and complete the online form. Required details include personal information, Aadhaar number, Class 10 marks, and trade‑specific qualifications. All supporting documents must be uploaded before submission.
Only one application per candidate per railway unit is allowed; duplicate submissions may lead to cancellation.
The deadline is strict: 11:59 pm on 6 November 2026. Applicants are urged to complete the process well before the cut‑off to avoid technical issues.
