A Bewitched Bride Enters a Household
Yami Gautam is poised for an unexpected comeback with the upcoming film Naai Naveli. The freshly dropped trailer fuses thriller, comedy, fantasy, and a burst of adrenaline‑pumping action, signaling a tone that veers sharply away from her previous projects.
The preview opens on a traditional Mumbai wedding ceremony, after which the new daughter‑in‑law steps into her husband’s home. Initially welcomed like any ordinary bride, the atmosphere shifts when a family elder insists the newcomer is not human but a witch.
While the claim is first dismissed, the trailer hints at a series of bizarre events—spooky family banter, mythic nods to Ravana, rapid‑fire fight sequences, and subtle supernatural cues—all pointing toward hidden abilities and concealed agendas. Audiences are left eager to unravel the enigma surrounding the captivating Mohini.
Yami Gautam Becomes Mohini
Gautam takes on the role of Mohini, a figure whose arrival upends the routine life of a modest Meerut family. The story revolves around how this mysterious bride reshapes domestic dynamics, delivering both hilarity and tension. Compared with her earlier characters, Mohini offers a more intricate, off‑beat persona, giving Gautam a fresh palette to showcase her versatility.
