Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav declared 2027 the state’s official “Year of Youth” during the CM Youth Conclave‑2026 on Lal Parade Ground. The blueprint seeks to embed young voices in policy‑making, translate their ideas into actionable schemes, and build a fertile ecosystem for learning, jobs, entrepreneurship, research and cutting‑edge technology.

Zero‑Cost Coaching for National Competitive Exams in Every District

Government colleges across all districts will host free coaching centres for national‑level competitive examinations. By eliminating expensive private tuition and the need for long‑distance travel, students from remote villages will receive an equal opportunity to compete.

Research Stipends Raised to ₹25,000 per Month

Eligible researchers will see their monthly allowance climb from ₹16,000 to ₹25,000. A dedicated ₹1 crore research‑support fund will also be created to energise university‑level projects and nurture a vibrant scholarly community.

AI and Advanced Computing Laboratories in Government Colleges

To align student capabilities with future‑proof sectors, AI and advanced computing labs will be set up in state‑run colleges. These hubs will expose learners to emerging technologies, spark innovation and open pathways to high‑growth careers.

₹5 Crore State‑Level “Idea Fund” for Young Entrepreneurs

A new ₹5 crore fund will back promising concepts from young innovators, encouraging a shift from job‑seeking to job‑creating. The scheme aims to nurture startups that can, in turn, generate employment for others.

Skill‑Development Programme for 100,000 Youth

The government targets the upskilling of one lakh young people through vocational courses. Strengthened placement cells will connect trainees with suitable jobs, ensuring that new skills translate into sustainable livelihoods.

Extra MPPSC Examination Added to the Calendar

In addition to the regular annual test, an additional Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exam will be held next year, giving aspirants another chance to secure government posts as part of the Year of Youth drive.

Expansion of Medical and Higher‑Education Institutions

Plans are underway to launch 12 new medical colleges and 12 new universities throughout the state, with a strong emphasis on courses that directly enhance employability.

Extended Support Schemes for Female Students and Working Women

The “Gaon Ki Beti” and “Pratibha Kiran” programmes will be broadened to cover postgraduate women scholars. Moreover, hostels for working women will be established in every division, offering safe and convenient accommodation for women entering the workforce.

Comprehensive Push on Jobs, Technology and Entrepreneurship

The conclave featured delegates from 17 government departments and over 80 exhibition stalls highlighting opportunities in AI, robotics, drones, semiconductors, renewable energy and electric vehicles. A Global Investors Summit is slated for Bhopal next year, targeting sectors capable of large‑scale job creation. Additionally, 500 new National Service Scheme (NSS) units will be formed to spur youth participation in community service.

These coordinated actions weave together education, competitive exams, research, technology, skill development, startups and employment, laying the groundwork for Madhya Pradesh’s 2027 Year of Youth.
