Exam Schedule and Mode

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced that the Group‑B Nursing Officer selection exam will take place on 21 October 2026. The assessment will be administered as a Computer‑Based Test (CBT) in the morning session, following the timetable released on 5 October.

Admit Card Availability

Admit cards are slated to go live on the recruitment portal around 14 October 2026. Candidates should log in to pgimer.edu.in to download their hall tickets.

Step‑by‑Step Admit Card Download

To retrieve the admit card, sign in with the same user ID and password submitted during online registration, then navigate to Students > Info for Candidates. Once the PDF appears, save it immediately and double‑check that all personal details are correct.

Exam Centre Details on the Admit Card

The issued admit card will show the candidate’s roll number, allotted centre, complete address, and reporting time. It will also indicate gate‑opening and closing timings along with essential instructions. Candidates are urged to review these particulars carefully before traveling to avoid any last‑minute confusion.

City Allocation Notification

Applicants who successfully completed online registration will receive an email specifying the city of their assigned centre. PGIMER recommends checking the registered email regularly for updates. While the institute attempts to respect the city preference entered during registration, final allocation depends on seat availability, infrastructure, and logistical considerations, which may result in a centre outside the chosen city or even in a different state.

Policy on Changing Centres

Requests to modify the allotted centre will not be entertained. Candidates must accept the venue printed on their admit card and arrange travel only after confirming the final location.

Closure of Application Window

The online application window closed on 3 October 2026. Applicants who submitted their forms can still view and download their applications from the recruitment portal until 11:55 pm on 6 October 2026. After this deadline, the portal will be deactivated.
