Jaipur — The Rajasthan State Election Commission has revised the itinerary for election officials ahead of the upcoming Panchayat polls. Only the dates on which the teams travel to their respective constituencies have been altered, ensuring that the actual polling days stay exactly as previously announced.

Phase One

Field crews assigned to Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti contests will now set out on 21 October, with voting scheduled for 22 October.

Nomination drives for Panch and Sarpanch posts will be held on 23 October, followed by ballot casting on 24 October. The Up‑Sarpanch election is slated for 25 October.

Phase Two

For the second segment, teams will depart on 27 October and conduct Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections on 28 October.

Nomination for Panch and Sarpanch seats is scheduled for 29 October, with voting on 30 October. The Up‑Sarpanch poll follows on 31 October.

Phase Three

The departure for the final phase has been moved forward to 2 November, and voting for Zila Parishad and Panchayat Samiti members will occur on 3 November.

Nomination for Panch and Sarpanch positions will take place on 4 November, with the ballot on 5 November. The Up‑Sarpanch election is set for 6 November.

Polling Dates Remain Fixed

The commission stressed that the dates on which citizens cast their votes have not been changed; only the travel schedule for election teams has been adjusted.

This realignment prevents any election activity from coinciding with Dhanteras, a major Hindu festival, thereby sparing voters and officials from inconvenience during the celebrations.

With the updated timetable, the election process will continue on the originally announced polling dates while respecting the festive calendar.
