New Delhi. Police say a 17‑year‑old boy was viciously stabbed in the 30 Block of Trilokpuri, Mayur Vihar, as a result of an old rivalry that resurfaced after a dispute two weeks earlier.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers from the Mayur Vihar police station received an emergency call reporting a teenager injured by knives. Responders arrived quickly, administered first aid, and rushed the victim to LBS Hospital, where doctors subsequently transferred him to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for advanced care. His condition is now reported as stable.
Background of the Conflict
Investigators uncovered that the victim had been involved in a physical confrontation with another juvenile about 15 days ago. Witnesses claim the teenager and his friends had assaulted the other youngster during that earlier clash. Police believe the lingering hostility prompted the aggrieved party and his accomplices to ambush the teen, using two knives recovered from the scene.
Police Action and Ongoing Search
Following the attack, three juveniles were detained and are currently being questioned. Simultaneously, law‑enforcement teams are conducting raids at suspected hideouts to locate a fourth juvenile believed to have participated in the stabbing.
